About Donna

Hi Friends,

After 30 years in education in public and private schools, in both inner city and the suburbs, I’ve retired to spend more time with my family and pursue projects that are important to me. I believe the numerous changes occurring in education today have made it more important than ever that parents and teachers are knowledgeable about how children learn and have the resources they need to be successful. It is for this reason that I’ve created this blog to support my family and friends, and a small group of organizations that I offer my volunteer services. Teaching is hard work and goes well beyond an 8 hour day. The goal of this blog is to provide you support by posting resources, helping your apply for competitive teacher grants and for offering  teacher/parent trainings.

I have named this blog “Three Rings Connections” since I believe that successful learning involves multiple connections. As a believer in “building capacity” and “professional learning communities”, I will be posting all materials on this blog so everyone has access and can contribute to discussion. Please feel free to use the materials for your schools and organizations and adjust them to suit your needs.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to continue in the education field in a way that directly helps kids.
